Hearths
SpiralScouts features three different levels: Fireflies (ages 4-8), Spiral Scouts (ages 9-13) and Pathfinders (ages 13-18.) Our circle currently has four hearths: three Firefly and one Spiral Scouts. We also have a waiting list for those who wish to join and create new hearths as needed and according to parent leader availability.
Each hearth operates relatively independently and is led by at least two parent volunteer leaders who provide guidance and direction. Parent volunteers also oversee circle operations, decisions, outreach, and planning circlewide events throughout the year where all our hearths come together.
